NAQCC NEWSLETTER:

The email NAQCC Newsletter is sent out twice monthly to all members for whom we have a valid email address and who wish to continue receiving it. It is designed to announce the release of our on-line newsletter as well as containing a brief promo for our upcoming Challenge and Sprint. One issue the last Saturday of a month to promote the following month's Challenge, and one issue on the Saturday before the Sprint to promote the upcoming Sprint. The on-line newsletter contains much additional information including sprint and challenge details and winners, awards issued, general club news, and member news. A new feature started recently is a monthly CW cartoon by Dick W9CBT in each pre-sprint newsletter.

The member news section will be your opportunity to brag about your accomplishments with QRP CW. It will be a place to share QRP CW tips with fellow members. You can write a review of that latest QRP CW kit you built or describe some QRP CW gear you built from scratch so others can benefit from your experience. In general any POSITIVE news about QRP CW concerning you or relating to the NAQCC in general.

The member news will NOT accept negative news or flaming of any organization or individual. It is not for news of any other mode besides CW nor QRO power levels. It is not for news of other organizations nor their events unless they give equal coverage to our events and share in our goal of promoting CW and QRP. FISTS has kindly done so, and it is permissible to mention them and their events.

Our news editor is Paul KD2MX. He will approve or disapprove all news. Send your news items to him for consideration at pix_email_kd2mx (1K).

You can read the current on-line newsletter via the 'Current' link in the left column or by clicking the link in the email newsletter. We are also archiving all on-line newsletters via the 'Past Issues' link in the left column.

If you are a non-member reading this, and you wish to receive the email newsletter, you must join the club. Membership is free and there are no obligations other than to do whatever you can to help preserve CW at QRP power levels on the ham bands. You do not even have to be a licensed amateur to join the club. You're welcome as long as you believe in preserving the wonderful mode of CW.

If your email address changes, notify your newsletter emailer via the 'Contact Us' link in the left column.
